Customer Case: ML-160 Cartesian XYZ Palletizing Robot VS ML-180 Column Rotating Palletizing Robot

Today we received a European customer in need of a palletizing robot. The existing product packaging and production line information is as follows:

Product name: Wood pellets

Packaging form: Plastic bag

Product specification: 15kg/bag

Product dimensions: 450 × 650 mm

Pallet dimensions: 1200 × 900 × 144 mm

Palletizing height: 1650mm to 1800mm

Stacking pattern: 5 bags per layer, 13 layers in total

Further communication revealed that the customer’s production line currently has an output of 2000kg to 3000kg per hour, equivalent to 150 to 220 bags per hour.

Based on the above basic information and the speed required for the hourly output, we recommended two models to the customer: the ML-160 catesian XYZ palletizing robot and the ML-180 column rotating palletizing robot. The differences between the two models are as follows:

ML-160 Cartesian XYZ Palletizing Robot

Equipment dimensions: Total height 2.6m, total length 2.5m, total width 2.1m, floor area 2.5 × 2.1 m²

Palletizing efficiency: 300–400 cycles/hour (theoretical maximum)

Reference pallet dimensions: ≤1200 × 1400 mm (including actual stack pattern)

The arm length, column height, base length, and special gripper can be customized as needed.

Equipment dimensions: Total height 3m, rotation coverage radius 2.5m, floor area 5 × 3 m²

ML-180: Large footprint, large operating area, faster palletizing speed

The customer required a simple structure, easy installation, and high cost-effectiveness. The ML-160 features a simple structure, customer can install machine independently by following our installation video guide. The customer ultimately selected the ML-160 cartesian XYZ palletizing robot, equipped with a customized gripper, control cabinet, shaping conveyor, and right-angle tipping conveyor. The machine has now entered the production scheduling phase, and after production is completed, we will apply for CE certification.
