Functional Characteristics of Cartesian Coordinate Robot:

• Motion Method: It can only perform linear movements along three mutually perpendicular directions. Its motion trajectory consists of rigid “polygonal lines.”

• Load Capacity: It has a strong load capacity and can be customized to handle heavy objects weighing several hundred kilograms or even tons for palletizing tasks.

• Precision and Speed: Its motion is simple and direct, providing high positioning accuracy. However, due to the inertial effects of linear acceleration and deceleration, its speed is generally slower compared to other types of robots.

• Workspace: Its workspace is a large rectangular cuboid. The size of the workspace can be easily expanded by lengthening the guide rails, making it highly suitable for covering long production lines.
